About the Event

Debbie Riddle is the country's leading speaker on stalking awareness. Her sister, Peggy Klinke, was a victim of stalking. Since her sister's death, Debbie has been working towards raising awareness and pushing for change in how society perceives and handles stalking. She has successfully made strides in changing the way law enforcement handle stalking crimes. She has spoken at the U.S. Congressional briefing to require U.S. Congress to offcially recognize January as Stalking Awareness Month, the month that her sister was murdered. In 2004, she was invited to speak at the 10th anniversary of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) conference where she demanded for stricter penalties for perpetrators and education for law enforcement. PAVE is honored to have Debbie as a speaker for our Stalking Awareness Month campaign. RSVP for the event here and you will receive a link to the zoom meeting in your email.
